About Me

As a counselor, I work with individuals coping with various concerns related to neurodiversity, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, PTSD & complex trauma, caregiver concerns, relationship issues, parenting struggles, communication skills, and general life dissatisfaction.   I use a trauma-informed approach to therapy and combine client-focused therapy, psychodynamic applications, play therapy, and EMDR.

In addition to work, I’m a mom to two neurodiverse teenagers.  Parenting neurodiverse children has shaped me both personally and professionally, deepening the empathy, understanding, patience, and creativity I bring to the therapy space.  Our home is shared with three affectionate (and occasionally mischievous) cats—Hack, Mac, and Pepper-Lilac—who add plenty of personality to daily life.

Outside of work, I love to travel, explore new places, go to concerts, and spend quiet moments reading with a warm cup of coffee or tea in hand. These simple joys help me stay grounded and present, which in turn enriches my work with clients.
