Darrell Williams, MS, Trauma Therapist

After graduating from Lincoln University in 1998, I began my career in the Human Services field as a contracted social worker in the Department of Human Services. The position included working with families, couples, and individuals as well as teenagers and emerging adults in Treatment Foster Care and the Juvenile Probation system. It was through these programs that I enhanced my knowledge and skills as a counselor providing emotional assistance to those struggling with barriers in life.  I obtained my master’s degree in 2021 in Community and Trauma Counseling from Thomas Jefferson University where I spent the last two years interning as an individual and Couples Therapist.  My interest is utilizing a range of therapeutic interventions, such as Trauma Focused CBT, solution focused therapy, reality therapy and many others. An effective approach that I continue to employ is assisting clients to build their self-confidence and teaching them the impact of generational trauma.

Specialties: Trauma, Generational Trauma, Adult/Emerging Adults/Teen Issues, Anxiety, Depression, Building Self-Confidence and Self Esteem, Relationship/Marriage/Family
