About this group

This group will touch on a range of topics surrounding multiracial and multicultural identity: defining the self (who and what decides how you identify?), hair (microaggressions, lack of knowledge and accessibility, how it impacts identity), dating while mixed (Fetishization, social pressures and judgements), family dynamics (parenting, intercultural/racial impacts, holidays/gatherings, siblings, names), self expression (clothing, hair, interests and hobbies), and friendships while mixed, all while leaving space for open-ended discussion.

Details

  • One 1-hour-long session per week for 8 weeks total.

  • In person @ our Center City office.

  • $50/session, with financial aid and sliding scale spots available.
