Brittany Kurdewan, LMFT

Brittany is a skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 9 years of experience working in the mental health field.  She has experience working with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children.  Brittany is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University. She currently holds a license in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  Brittany is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and provides training, consultation, and supervision to clinicians working towards obtaining their clinical license.  She is also certified in Eco-Systemic Family Therapy.

Brittany utilizes a systemic approach in therapy. She specifically focuses on identifying problematic patterns and cycles in both individual and relational work.  With this awareness, she supports her clients in creating and sustaining healthier patterns.  She utilizes an integrated approach including the following modalities; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, Attachment Theory, and Emotion-Focused Therapy.

Since there is no “one size fits all” approach in therapy, Brittany collaborates with clients to tailor treatment to their specific needs and goals. Ultimately, she seeks to empower clients in developing emotional awareness and self-confidence, improve upon communication skills, and create healthier relationships with their loved ones.

Specialties: Life transitions, self-discovery, women’s health, communication and relational problems, sex and intimacy, anxiety and depression, family dynamics, and co-parenting.
